The Great Divide Waterfall was constructed to mark Alberta's 75th
Anniversary. Built in 1980 is currently in operation every long
weekend during the summer months in celebration of holiday events.
The Great Divide Waterfall is over seven meters higher than Niagara
Falls and spans 91 meters along the expanse of the bridge. |

The Alberta Legislature Building
Dating back to the early 1900s The Alberta Legislature Building is one of
city's most notable landmarks in Edmonton. This impressive building stands on

Odyssium
Previously known as the Edmonton Space and Science Center
the Odyssium opened its doors in the early 1980s and is now a

a large IMAX theater, learning center, several science galleries

Edmonton Mall complex. The Aquatics Stage and Sea Life Caverns

aquatic species. The highlights at the Sea Life Caverns include
a variety of marine fish, penguins, an octopus, large sharks and
a dolphin show. There is even a touch pool, very popular with
the children.

Edmonton Mall is the Deep See Adventure how unusual is this and
located inside a shopping mall. The Deep See Adventure begins
with a ride inside a small, yellow submarine that is submersed

underwater ocean life. As your submarine journeys around you can
see colorful coral reefs, shipwrecks and marine life.

Stadium
Commonwealth Stadium was built in the 1970s for the
prestigious Commonwealth Games hosted by Edmonton in 1978. Today
the Commonwealth Stadium is recognized as the largest and most

football games. This massive Stadium has capacity of more than
